Stop At: Monte Brasil, Freguesia da Se, Angra do Heroismo, Terceira Portugal
The Monte Brasil peninsula is located in the city of Angra do Heroísmo, on the southern coast of Terceira Island, in the Azores.
It consists of the downed cone of an ancient extinct volcano, originating from the sea, consisting of a caldera surrounded by four peaks: Pico das Cruzinhas, Pico do Facho, Pico da Quebrada (where the whale watcher is located) and Pico do Zimbreiro. Retains remains of the original vegetation cover and is classified as a Recreational Forest Reserve.

Stop At: Church of San Sebastian, EN1-1A 78, 9700-614 São Sebastião, Portugal
It was built by the first settlers on the island in 1455, having undergone important conservation works during the 16th century, more precisely those started in 1568, as its chancel was quite ruined. On this date some building elements were added to the temple.

The best known viewpoint of Terceira Island, where you can see what we (local) call “patchwork blanket view”.

Stop At: Algar do Carvao, Estrada Algar Do Carvao Center of Island, Terceira Portugal
Included in the Caldeira Guilherme Moniz, an ancient dormant volcano, in this Algar visitors can descend to about 100 meters in depth, and observe stalactites unique in the world for their silicate characteristics, and an underground lagoon, with crystal clear waters. It is classified as a Regional Natural Monument.

Biscoitos are natural pools of lava flows that come into contact with the sea water and the depth of differences yielded curious geological formations.It was 1969 when the natural disposition of these formations on the north coast was used to adapt the bathing area.

It is classified as a Recreational Forest Reserve. Of great forest richness, it is characterized by its large dimensions and the diversity of plant species that it houses, where not only are examples of endemic flora but also exotic species that have adapted here over the centuries of settlement
