Canico Trip Overview
This is a all in one experience, enjoy in just 1 day a walk to Cais do Sardinha with breathtaking views of the mountains and atlantic ocean south and north, swim at Cais do Sardinha, boat trip to the eastern point of Madeira where we have the first lighthouse build in Madeira in 1870 and then Quinta do Lorde. You can have a light meal at Caniçal with typical sandwiches or “doses”. At the afternoon a 4×4 beaten track will take you to see the UNESCO forest at Funduras abd Portela, and serpentine roads to Santa Cruz passing by local villages and old terraces. The price of the boat trip is not included on the tour, extra €20.00 per person.
