At 1818 meters, is Madeira Island’s third highest peak. In most days, visitors can stand and look down on the clouds. The air is fresh and crisp and the sun very bright. On a clear day it is possible to see several locations through the island and the neighboring island of Porto Santo, 95 km to the northeast.

This viewpoint provides some of the most stunning views of the island from where we can observe Porto da Cruz, Penha de Águia and part of Santana. Here you will find a magnificent valley of mountains that flow into the sea.
