Pass By: Miradouro do Cristo Rei do Garajau, Estrada Nova do Cristo Rei, Madeira 6160-206 Portugal

We’re starting our journey in Garajau so you can experience an amazing view from the Cristo-Rei viewpoint, where a massive statue of Jesus Christ stands.

Moving on, we’re going to Santo da Serra and start our off-road adventure through the untouched Laurel forest. We’ll go to Fajã das Vacas for a small levada walk and then move towards Portela on a really beautiful path.

Back to Santo da Serra, where we’ll have a stop for lunch. This is a different kind of lunch, we’re not taking you to a restaurant. We’re teaching you how to cook espetada, our traditional beef skewers! Nothing cooler than learning new things and doing it yourself!

Next stop is Poiso, a must-go-and-stop-no-matter-what place for a real traditional poncha, after all we need to digest lunch properly. After recharging batteries we’re heading to Pico do Areeiro, Madeira’s second highest peak, for a stunning view.
