Coimbra Trip Overview
In about 3 hours you will have the opportunity to get to know all the main attractions of the city, seasoned with legends, famous local characters and a pinch of gastronomy that never hurts.
Starting from Largo da Portagem we will go into the Baixa, the lower part of the city, walking for about an hour in the streets that made the history of the city in the last century. We will continue on Avenida Sá da Bandeira, a long avenue characterized by student houses and night clubs. Piazza della Repubblica, Erasmus meeting point, and the Botanical Garden, 13.5 hectares owned by the university, will be the prelude to the visit of the university center.
We will end the tour by descending through the narrow streets of Sé Velha, the old cathedral.
Our goal is to showcase an Alternative Coimbra and, as always, we will do it our way. An artistic way, like an open-air show.
