The Trails:
On our trails you’ll enjoy peace and tranquility as you peddle your way through eucalyptus forests, pine woodlands through vineyards & across trickling streams and up and down rocky steppes. You’ll glide through quaint Portuguese villages and get to see how people live alongside nature. You’ll visit two museums, one about the Roman history in the region and one about the production of olive oil.
Our mountain bike leaders are qualified by MBLA UK. They speak fluent English and are qualified in first-aid. They will look after you along the way and make sure you have an awesome experience!
Accommodation –
Offering an outdoor pool, the accommodation is surrounded by nature. Free WiFi access is available.You’re welcome to prepare your own meals using the fully equipped kitchens. Alternatively, use the barbecue facilities outdoors and enjoy your meals al fresco! A luxurious vegan breakfast can be provided also. The property offers free parking and is pet friendly.

Itinerary
Day 1: The Bobadela Trail – explore the history of the region & stop off at two famous museums
Stop At: Vila Cha, Vila Cha, Tabua, Coimbra District, Central Portugal
We’ll begin with a presentation alongside some nutritious refreshments in our shop, whereby you’ll learn about the local culture, flora, fauna & geology of the area. We’ll then go through some safety tips when riding. Once the checks have been done, we’ll begin the ride.
This trail will take us cross country, through rustic villages and on some paved roads. You’ll explore some Roman history, in the form of some ruins & visit a museum After we’ll see how olive oil is made and it’s history at Portugal’s newest and most famous olive oil museum and take in the stunning natural diversity of Portugal’s rugged landscape.
Approx 11.5 miles of riding with varied elevations.

Day 2: The Percelada Trail – Pass through rustic villages and blaze down some technical descents
Stop At: Vila Cha, Vila Cha, Vila do Conde, Porto District, Northern Portugal
On this trail we’ll encounter a bit of everything that nature has to offer. We’ll glide though pine woodlands, eucalyptus forests, across farmlands, vineyards, rustic villages and some enjoy some fast & fun technical downhill riding. They’ll be some great photo opportunities also, next to a giant swing on a boulder overlooking the mountains.
Approx 9 miles of riding with varying elevations.

Day 3: The Sao Geraldo Trail – take in some breathtaking views atop of some giant granite boulders
Stop At: Vila Cha, Vila Cha, Tabua, Coimbra District, Central Portugal
This trail will see us mostly cross country, mostly on sandy tracks nestled between pine trees. You’ll smell the aroma of the wild lavender which grows so well in this area, as you ride through. The geology in this area is especially interesting. The view at the top of this trail is the best, allowing you to see for miles around. Being the 3rd day of the tour, it is slightly less challenging than the previous two.
After the ride has finished, we’ll begin editing the videos for you to store and remember this awesome tour for years to come!
