Lufi Surf School is an accredited school, recognized and enrolled in the Portuguese Surfing Federation, Portuguese Sport Institute, Turismo de Portugal with registration number 363/2011 and a member of the Association of Surf Schools of Portugal.
With more than 10 years of experience in teaching surfing and a team of specialized professionals, accredited and using appropriate methods and materials, we ensure the quality of lessons and safety in all activities carried out.
Lufi Surf School has its own extensive facilities with separate clothing, male and female, where our students can move around comfortably and store their belongings. After class you can take a comforting shower in our hot water showers. Unlike other surf schools, our classes are divided into maximum groups of five students per coach, thus ensuring optimal conditions for safety and learning.

Itinerary
You will learn, from the beginning, how to catch waves and stand or, if you already know how, to improve your technique.
The class will start with brief warm-up exercises, explanation of the basic safety rules and explanation of what to do in the water.
a) Head and face protection
b) Laterality in board transportation
c) Prohibition of diving head first – explanation of why
d) Alert to the possible existence of currents and their direction
e) Indication of the classroom area.
5) Division of students by coach in a ratio of 5/1
6) Explanation of the movements and basic technique of paddling and take-off (standing on the board) still in the sand for which you are coming to try for the first time, and improvement and evolution techniques for the others depending on your level.
Already in the water, and for a period of about 60 minutes, we will start to practice the movements and techniques learned in the water in the area of already broken waves or foam.
After class, we will return to school for a comforting hot water shower and goodbye.
