Funchal Trip Overview
We started this excursion to the East of the Island with a visit to Camacha, a place known for making handicrafts such as wicker baskets
We cross the village of Porto da Cruz, an area known for producing part of the wine in the region, heading towards the city of Santana, where there are the famous thatched roof houses. After having lunch in Faial, we started the climb up the mountains towards Ribeiro Frio where we visited the trout pond and took a short walk along the Levada dos Balcões. We continued our journey to one of the highest peaks in Madeira at 1810 m, Pico do Arieiro.Visit Câmara de Lobos following Cabo Girão with 580m height, famous for its suspended glass platform, Ribeira Brava, Ponta de Sol. In Porto Moniz so that our customers can enjoy lunch and enjoy the pools natural.
Returning to Funchal, we passed by Véu da Noiva (Miradouro) making the return to Funchal through São Vicente.

Day 1: West of Madeira
Stop At: Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, Rua do Lugar, Porto Moniz, Madeira 9270-156 Portugal
The best excursions in Madeira by minibus, stopping at all tourist spots.
Discovering the West Coast of Madeira, we start with a visit to Câmara de Lobos following Cabo Girão, 580m high, famous for its suspended glass platform. We continue to the towns of Ribeira Brava, Ponta de Sol where there is one of the most beautiful banana plantations. We will make a climb to Paul da Serra where we will enjoy a short walk.
A stop is made at Porto Moniz so that our guests can enjoy lunch and enjoy the natural pools.
Returning to Funchal, we passed by Véu da Noiva (Miradouro) making the return to Funchal through São Vicente.
We stop on the way back to the Encumeada area where we can taste the poncha, a famous typical Madeira drink made from Madeira cane spirit, lemon juice and honey.

Day 2: East of Madeira
Stop At: Casas Tipicas de Santana, Sitio do Serrado, Santana, Madeira 9230-082 Portugal
We started this excursion to the East of the Island with a visit to Camacha, a place known for making handicrafts like wicker baskets, visiting the wicker factory.
Stopping at the Portela viewpoint, passing by Santo da Serra, known for its beautiful rural landscapes and the famous golf course where international tournaments are held annually.
We cross the village of Porto da Cruz, an area known for producing part of the wine in the region, heading towards the city of Santana where you can see the famous thatched houses and have lunch. Ribeiro Frio where we visited the trout pond Taking a walk along the Levada dos Balcões.
After a visit to a place where we will taste the famous natural drink of Madeira, “poncha” we continue on to one of the highest peaks in Madeira with 1810 m, the Pico do Arieiro.
We make a stop at Monte (where it is optional to descend in basket cars), on our return to Funchal.
