Our Pickups begins bright and early, with pickups starting from 5:30 a.m. in summer and 6.am in winter seasons, We’ll pick you up from your location and transfer you to Pico do Areeiro.
After enjoying the awe-inspiring sunrise, we’ll arrange a pickup at the other end, allowing you to hike at your own pace. You’ll start your hike from PICO DO AREEIRO to PICO RUIVO carkpark at Achada da Taxeira.
Once you’ve completed your hike, will be waiting to transport you back to Funchal, ensuring a comfortable and convenient return journey.

You’ll be dropped here before sunrise, but before we do orientation/safety brief.
Congratulations on reaching the summit! It’s time to celebrate with a picnic lunch. After a well-deserved rest, you’ll begin the hike down to the car park at Achada da Teixeira, which typically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. We’ll be waiting for you at the car park until 2 p.m., ready to provide a comfortable ride back to Funchal. Enjoy the descent and we look forward to accompanying you on the journey back.
