Very often we are above the clouds and the colours are absolutely extraordinary, truly a once in a lifetime moment!
Of course we cannot always guarantee the perfect weather conditions for the perfect sunrise so we have back up spots such as;
Pico do facho, Ponta Sao Lourenço, Guindaste Viewpoint and one or two secret spots, each with their own unique characteristics.
This is a real adventure and an experience you will not easily forget.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Funchal, Funchal, Madeira, Madeira Islands
After stopping for an early morning coffee and pit stop we head up into the mountains via the “interesting” back roads of Funchal in our 4×4 towards the third highest peak of Madeira, Pico do Areiro
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Pico do Arieiro, E 202, Funchal, Madeira 9000-900 Portugal

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Balcoes de Ribeiro Frio, Er103 Parque Natural de Ribeiro Frio, Madeira 6160-206 Portugal
After coming down from the sunrise we go on a special “bonus” levada walk which we will get all to ourselves, usually very crowded and popular tourist route.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Ribeiro Frio, Ribeiro Frio, Madeira, Madeira Islands
We end off with a local style breakfast coffee/sandwich/poncha at one of Madeira´s best local snack bars
