In front of the ancient wall “Aqui nasceu Portugal” i will welcome you all. I will give a brief explanation of how a polaroid camera works and why it got so famous. I will make a short summary of what you can expect from the tour that we are about to start.
I will tell you why this city has a medieval look and tell you more details about the city history. Our itinerary will be all inside the main town where you can feel better the energy of the city. Even more important than giving you a brief history of the city is to show you how the city is alive nowadays. We will have the opportunity to meet the locals, to try some traditional pastries and visit some artsy places. When we finish our tour you will have learned about the city history but also about how the city is developing nowadays, with a breeze of fresh air, with the new generations bringing life to the city. And dont forget to keep your eyes wide open during the tour so you can capture great moments with your polaroid camera.

Our first stop will be just some steps after our meeting point. We will get to know more about the main square and how it evolved during decades until what we have nowadays. If we have the opportunity we will sneak inside one of the buildings to have a different view of the main square.
