Itinerary

Stop At: Jose Maria de Fonseca, Rua Jose Augusto Coelho 11 13 Vila Nogueira, Azeitao 2925 Portugal
Home – museum, winery, and tasting room. We will explore the history of a big and successful Portuguese family. Try different types of wine and discuss which one you prefer and why. You will learn what is the “vinho torna viagem” and why it is so expensive.
Here you can choose the type of tasting (wines you would like to try). The prices are different. I will explain the difference and help you to choose the right one. If you are traveling in the company each of you can choose the tasting he/she likes.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Azeitao, Azeitao, Setubal District, Alentejo
In this beautiful village, which looks like from fairytale we will stop to drink coffee/tea with the famous pastry. I’ll tell how they were invented and why cream from eggs is used so often in Portuguese sweets.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Quinta do Anjo, Quinta do Anjo, Setubal District, Alentejo
Now we are going to visit the coziest winery in this region. Teresa – owner will meet us and take throw the story of her family which always were connected with winemaking. We will try different wines including unique ones, which you can find only here.
The price of tasting here is 15/person Euros and includes several types of dry and sweet wines + tasting from the barrel.
If you would like to add local starters please let me know before, in this case the price will be 20 Euros/person.
