One of the largest and most rich cemeteries of Lisbon. Larger than life mausoleums from Portugal’s Romantic period. With Europe’s largest private/family mausoleum.

Stop At: English Cemetery, Avenida de Alvares Cabral, Lisbon 1250-235 Portugal

Built to allow non-christians to be buried in Portugal, it was the first of it’s kind to be allowed by the Portuguese catholic church. Situated in the Estrela District, next to the Basilica and gardens.
