Discover another perspective of Lisbon, by night and with the sound of Fado music, Lisbon’s song. We invite you, on this tour of Lisbon, to enjoy an unforgettable and magical evening in one of the most famous restaurants in the capital, where you can savour the most authentic flavours of the Portuguese gastronomy and listen to the Fado music, awarded as intangible cultural heritage, in 2011. Fado mirrors the essence of the Portuguese soul and it is still today the most genuine expression of the Portuguese popular culture.
With an uncertain historical origin, Fado means “destiny” and reflects the melting pot of cultures in Lisbon over the centuries. Accompanied by the Portuguese guitar and the classical guitar, the Fado music must be heard in the silence of the night, with a “soul that knows how to listen” to this song, which talks about the deepest feelings of the Portuguese people (nostalgia, love, jealousy, betrayal, a society satire…).

You will love to discover one of the most beautiful belvederes of the city, the viewpoint of Our Lady of the Hill, which offers a stunning view of St. George Castle, the downtown Baixa Pombalina, the 25th April Bridge and the sanctuary of Christ the King. During this tour, we won’t skip the visit of Belém’s district, with the magnificent Hieronymites’ Monastery and the majestic Belém Tower, which allow you to take awesome photos, worthy of a postcard.
