Lisboa Trip Overview
Join this journey through the best of Sintra and Cascais has to offer, travel in a comfortable van with 8 seats or a minibus.
To avoid lines we’ll start the tour to visit the Palacio da Pena, the exlibris of romanticism in Portugal. Hunger starts to tighten and we’ll take a short walk through the historic center of the town of Sintra, where we’ll taste its regional pastry, namely the Travesseiros and Queijadas de Sintra.
Next stop will be Quinta de Regaleira known for its gardens and eccentric.
Following the “old road” we’ll go to the beach area, where we’ll have lunch and if time allow we can take a swim.
Here it will be the furthest point from Lisbon that we will be. It is time to return to Lisbon always next by the Ocean, but with a stop at the most Western point in Europe, Cabo da Roca.
Last stop will be in Cascais, where we can relax a little before arriving in Lisbon.
It´ll be a rich full day

The beautiful Palácio da Pena will be the highlight of any daytrip to Sintra. The greatest example of romantic architecture in Portugal, built in the 19th century.

The Castelo dos Mouros was established during the 9th century by the North African Moors to guard the town of Sintra, but it fell into disrepair after the Christian conquest of Portugal.
Stop At: Sintra, Sintra, Sintra Municipality, Lisbon District, Central Portugal
In Sintra, we walk through the old village and we´ll taste the traditional pastry, queijadas and travesseiro.

The Quinta da Regaleira is a decorative 20th century residence that is situated in the town of Sintra. The grand house is split over five floors and has an ornate gothic façade, but the real attraction is to the rear with the enchanting gardens. The gardens of the Quinta da Regaleira were styled to represent ancient secret orders, with hidden tunnels and concealed symbolism.

I´ll be our last stop where we can take a little walk a drink something before to go to Lisbon. Cascais it´s a picturesque and colorful fishing village on the banks of the Atlantic that has become one of the most sophisticated and visited destinations in Portugal. Known as the Portuguese Riviera the village of Cascais really has its charm and it is difficult to find someone who has not been enchanted by its quiet alleys, its beautiful palaces facing the sea or even the colorful boats leaning against the sea.
