Lisbon Trip Overview

Fatima is one of the largest pilgrimage centers in the world, built around the place where, in 1917, the Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherds. After visiting the Basilica where the three seers are buried, the chapel of apparitions and the modern Church of the Holy Trinity, we will have some free time to prayers or attend a celebration (optional). Shortly afterwards, the tour goes to Valinhos, the small village where the three young shepherds were born, and we will visit their homes, having the chance to see what the region’s houses looked like at the beginning of the XX century.

Sinta – UNESCO World Heritage, has been the summer residence of the royal family since the fourteenth century. Sintra’s micro climate, where humidity predominates, helped the exuberant vegetation to thrive. It was often praised by the nineteenth-century romantic poets like Lord Byron. You will have the opportunity to visit one of the various Palaces of Sintra on this tour and taste the traditional sweets.
