The first activity starts off right tasting your pastel da nata. Next, we’ll make multiple stops seeing neighborhood features like the Santa Justa Elevator, Carmo Convent, the historic Cafe A Brasileira, traditional cafes & shops telling stories about each unique place and learning about Lisbon’s history.
Crossing Avenida da Liberdade, you’ll learn more about heart of Lisbon through Rossio, São Domingos, sampling the famous ginjinha liqueur, and we’ll have some traditional bites to eat at a historic tavern
As we make our way up the hill through Mouraria we’ll explore the small streets leading up to Castelo de São Jorge.
Now it’s time to wind back down from the top of the castle through the fado streets of Alfama and past Lisbon’s oldest cathedral Sé and we will end at Praça do Comércio along the banks of the Tagus River
