Our tour begins in the city of Cascais, then we will go to Cabo da Roca, stop for lunch in a typical Portuguese restaurant. We will continue to the romantic village of Sintra and then we will visit the Pena Palace.

We continue our tour to the PALÁCIO DA PENA. The fantastic Pena Palace is one of the greatest examples of the romantic revival of the century. XIX in Portugal. Located in Monte da Pena, the Palace was built on the site of an old convent of friars of the Order of São Jerónimo. It was the result of the imagination of D. Fernando de Saxe Coburgo-Gotha, who married Queen Maria II in 1836. In love with Sintra, he decided to acquire the convent and the surrounding lands to build the summer palace of the royal family. Cabo da Roca is also called “Focinho da Roca” by people linked to things of the sea, and more poetically by “Promontório da Lua”, It is integrated in the Sintra Cascais Natural Park, which encompasses a vast area of natural interest and beauty landscape. From Cabo da Roca it is possible to follow several eco-trails. In Cabo da Roca, the visitor is faced with a spectacular landscape, an imposing lighthouse. The incredible Boca do Inferno, Cascais. The fascinating Boca do Inferno is a unique formation in the rocks by the ocean and is one of the most famous visit points in Cascais. It is believed that in the past this place was a cave that with time and the strength of the sea ended up giving way and gave rise to the scenario as it is known today. Currently, Boca do Inferno is an open pit, with a kind of arch through which sea water enters. On more agitated days you can hear the sound of the water hitting the rocks, a noise so unique that it makes an analogy to the name of the place.
