Here, we will visit the main church of the Monastery of Saint Mary of the Victory. This gothic style abbey was erected in the 14th century to celebrate the victory in the Battle of Aljubarrota, against the Spanish army.

The highest point of the city, with a beautiful panoramic view of the beach and the whole region. Here you can also find fisherwomen wearing the traditional costume of the village.

The Fort of Saint Michael the Archangel, with a lighthouse incorporated, is nowadays used as a museum for the big waves.

Over the extensive coastline of Nazaré beach we’ll have the chance to view the Dry Fish and Fishing Boats Museum of Nazaré, a living museum whose main purpose consists of preserving this ancestral tradition.
