This largest central park in Lisbon stretches uphill from Marquês de Pombal Square to a viewing platform to the top that offers sweeping view over Praça Marquês do Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade and the River Tejo. It houses the Estufa Fria greenhouse where houses various tropical plants, cacti and other exotic plants.

It is a neighbour where you find historical sights and culinary treats from around the world, the quiet sight of residential neighbour during day time, as well as the lively sight as many of the city’s best bars, restaurants and fado clubs open for business. Some part is best to be visited on foot. You can also visit Miraduro De Sao Pedro de Alcantara, Elevador da Bica, Jardim de Principe Real, Cais do Sodre, and much more.

Alfama is the charismatic fado district in the historic center with a delightful maze of yellow cobbled streets, steep hills from Baixa to the Castelo de Sao Jorge. One thing not to miss is the world-famous Pastel da Nata (Portuguese Egg Custard Tart).
