We discover the wonders of central Portugal on a private tour and stop in Odidos for a visit to the Castle to taste Ginja and visit the factory.
We continue to Aveiro with a quick stop (possibility of taking a boat trip through the canals)
After Aveiro we go to Aliança Underground Museum for a visit that explains one of the most famous brandies in Portugal Aliança Velha and a tasting of the very typical sparkling wines of that region. The journey continues to the Douro Valley, a fascinating region. Therefore, we do our best to adapt a transfer with a tour.

FACTORY VISIT
LicÓbidos opens its doors to share a unique experience in a familiar environment.
It invites you to discover the family history of the Mariquinhas brand and hear the explanation of everything
the production process of the famous ginja de Óbidos – Ginja Mariquinhas, from the harvest of the fruit
tasting, and may be involved in some stages of packaging or labeling.
At the end of the visit, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure that comes from the real tasting
in a tasting room, integrated in the aging cellar, admiring the peaceful setting and the
beauty of space decoration.

The Aliança Underground Museum is an exhibition space that takes place along the traditional cellars of Aliança Vinhos de Portugal. Comprising eight distinct collections, this museological equipment covers areas such as archaeology, ethnography, mineralogy, paleontology, tiles and ceramics, covering an impressive time span of millions of years. It is the first underground museum in Portugal that combines art with wine.

Inserted in the great universe of the Berardo collection, the museum’s collections result from the constant care of the collector José Berardo, in immunizing pieces and works of art, of multiple origins and species, with sometimes historical and sometimes sentimental meanings.
