The Historical Center of Sintra is a charming labyrinth of narrow streets and historic buildings where you’ll still find a strong traditional environment amongst handicraft stores, restaurants and cafes.
As we wander its cobbled lanes, you’ll discover the beloved Piriquita Pastry Shop, where queijadas and travesseiros, local delicacies, tempt your taste buds.
Additionally, you’ll be able to admire the National Palace of Sintra from the outside, witnessing its architectural beauty and understanding its central place in the town’s cultural tapestry.
Within a 10 minute walk from here, we can reach Quinta da Regaleira, another famous monument, to take a glimpse at this impressive Palace from the outside.
