The Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário began to be built in 1928. It stands on the spot where the Little Shepherds used to play, on May 13, 1917.
The building, which measures 70.5 meters in length and the bell tower is 65 m high, topped by a 7000 kg bronze crown.
The chime consists of 62 bells, the largest bell weighs 3,000 kg and the clapper 90Kg.
On May 13, 1958, a large statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was inaugurated, it is 4.73 m tall and weighs 13 tons. This image, offered by American Catholics, evokes the content of the message regarding devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Inside the Basilica we find the tombs of Lúcia, and the brothers Francisco Marto and Jacinta Marto

This Basilica began to be built in 2004 because it was verified that the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima was no longer large enough to accommodate all pilgrims, particularly on Sundays and other days of average attendance, and was inaugurated in 2007.
A Basilica of Modern Architecture with 8 633 seats. In 2012, this temple dedicated to the Holy Trinity, received the title of Basilica.

We visited the House where Lúcia and her family lived, you can see the Room, as well as all the furniture of that time.
Next to the house we also visited the place where the animals were kept

We visited the House where Francisco and Jacinta Marto and their family lived, you can see the Rooms, Kitchen, Pantry, as well as all the furniture of that time. Also we can see the secret place, where Francisco hid from the press after the apparitions.
Next to the house we also visited the garden where they played.

It was at Poço dos Arneiros at the end of the backyard of Lúcia’s house, emblematic place of the apparitions of Fátima that the second apparition of the Angel .
