Visit Cape Espichel, a promontory located inside the Arrabida Nature Park, where you will find the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Pedra Mua, that has its origins according to the legend that tells how Our Lady appeared in dreams to two fishermen who saw her climb one of the slopes sitting on top of a mule.
The Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Pedra Mua welcomes its visitors with open arms and beside the small Ermida da Memória discover a breathtaking landscape, having at your feet the view of Lagosteiros Bay.

Sesimbra
Picturesque fishing village located next to a sheltered bay. Sesimbra was founded at the top of the hill, around the castle of the Moors that the 1st king of Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques conquered in 1165.
Its history dates back to antiquity and is still very present due to its monuments and fishing traditions. It remains to this day one of the main fishing ports in Portugal.

Livramento Market
You arrived in Setubal. As a district capital it is a city that reminds its past of labor, sea and fishing skills. It is the cradle of Manuel Maria Barbosa du Bocage, a famous 18th century Portuguese poet. Before lunch you will visit the Livramento Market. It is considered one of the most famous fish markets in the world. Inaugurated in 1930, it features cast iron columns inside and walls covered in panels with 5700 typical Portuguese tiles depicting scenes from everyday life, such as fishing and agriculture. The façade has an Art Deco style on its exterior. Those who visit it are not indifferent to the fresh products of the sea and land that are sold in this market.
