Setúbal is an important port and commercial area where the main activity is fishing. The main avenue has a huge central garden and side streets full of local shops and typical restaurants with fresh fish, seafood and the traditional fried cuttlefish.
Azeitão is known for its wine produced by Caves José Maria da Fonseca, one of the oldest in Portugal, producer of the famous wine “Periquita” and Moscatel de Setúbal.

Belonging to the district of Setúbal, Sesimbra has a unique landscape of the mouth of the river Sado, Serra da Arrábida, Cabo Espichel, Lagoa de Albufeira and Meco beach. Classified as a National Monument in 1910, its castle is the last of the Portuguese castles on the sea and with medieval features. Visit to the interior of the Castle and Church of Santa Maria. Contemplation of the panoramic view of the city of Sesimbra through the Castle.
