As a certified tourist guide I have started working as national guide, accompanying travelers from all over the world in long range tours across the country, and had the opportunity to work as a tour manager across Europe. Currently I am working only as a local guide in Lisbon and surroundings, and continuing my ongoing training in order to specialize even more in my favorite region. Let’s see the first Christian Castle in Sintra. A Castle that was once was Arab that was attributed to the Knights Templar by the first king of Portugal

Stop At: Sintra National Palace, Largo Rainha Dona Amelia, Sintra 2710-616 Portugal
As you can not miss, we will visit the castle of Sintra. It is located in the heart of the village of Sintra. It was here that several kings passed holidays. One of these kings was D.Dinis. It was he who created the order of Christ. The first religious order created after the extinction of the Knights Templar

Sintra has a lot to discover. Let’s go through some of the streets and some places used by the warrior monks. Let’s try to pass the whole mystique of Sintra

After leaving the historical area of Sintra, we will go to the Sintra National Park, where we will make a brief lunch break
