What makes The Portuguese Food Tour – Local Foods and Drinks in Lisbon a unique experience ?

This is the area we’ll meet at. You’ll hear about the importance of Chiado in Lisbon’s history and get to know some of the most important stores. Here, we’ll also visit our first food stop.

You’ll walk through one of the most important streets in Lisbon: The Pink Street. Here, you’ll hear some interesting stories about the history of the street. After this, we’ll visit our second local food stop which is near the street.

The Time Out Market is very well-known and touristic, and the purpose of this tour is to show you the very local places you maybe wouldn’t visit on your own. Therefore, we will only walk through the market for you to have an overview of it and we’ll drink a special local liquor at the end.

Here you’ll see the beautiful City Hall of Lisbon and hear about the proclamation of the Portuguese Republic.

You’ll see the most emblematic squares of Lisbon, a must-see in the city. Hear, you’ll hear about the earthquake in Lisbon.

We will walk through the one of most important streets of Lisbon: Rua Augusta. As this street is full of pastry shops, we will try some Portuguese sweets.

Depending on the weather and the group’s circumstances, we will be able to finish our tour near São Jorge Castle. Either way, the local tricks on how to get there without walking up the hills will be shared.
