Lisbon Trip Overview
1-Lisbon in a flash: the seven hills, the typical neighborhoods, the pastries of Belem, the Discoveries’ past and the triumphant look at the future of an increasingly fashionable city.
2-Then there is…the Tagus river connecting Lisbon to the sea, the beaches of Cascais and Estoril, former destinations of the European aristocracy as well as the fantastic world of Sintra, with its fairytale castles, its mysterious and romantic surroundings.
3-On the third day of this tour, we drift further north, to the famous Fatima sanctuary, a destination to visit at least once in the life of a Catholic. We walk the walls of Obidos, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in the country and end the journey again by the sea in Nazare, a picturesque fishing village.
4-The last day will be spent within medieval walls, in Evora, the capital of Alentejo region. Here we’ll learn about the Roman and Moorish influences in the landscape, architecture and culture of this UNESCO official site.
