Caminho Real da Encumeada is a 12.5 km trail which crosses part of the mountain massif of the island of Madeira, near the foot of the highest peaks in the archipelago. This is an old cobbled ‘Royal Path’, which used to be one of the main routes in the region.

Câmara de Lobos is one of the main destinations in Madeira due to its charm. It was built around a long natural harbor created by the black basalt rock which contrasts with the turquoise waters. It’s a beautiful and very picturesque place. Lobos means seal in Portuguese.
