The West Tour starts off from the reception area of your hotel. The first stop will be at Cabo Girão, this absolutely amazing sea cliff will present you with breath-taking panoramic views. Next is Ribeira Brava, its name came from the wild (Brava) river (Ribeira) that flow in this area when the rain falls heavily. After that we go to Madalena do Mar, where we will visit the banana plantation. Then we go to Fonte do Bispo, this is a view point located between 1300 and 1500 meters. After that we get to Porto Moniz, which is famous for its series of natural volcanic pools created by reefs in the coastal lava rocks. The next stop is Seixal, there is a beautiful black sand beach. Then we make our way to the town of São Vincent, which is one of the most predominant villages of the northern coast of Madeira island. With a breathtaking landscape — the green cliffs and mountains of the island’s north coast — this unsupervised beach offers its visitors access to the toilet facilities, showers and the bar of Clube Naval do Seixal Pools, right next to it, which is a free access facility with a natural pool and sun loungers. São Vicente is an area characterized by green nature and abundant forest, modelled by volcanic forces and erosion in its beautiful slopes. One of the most representative symbols of the picturesque town of São Vicente is the small chapel built inside a basalt rock at the mouth of the stream that runs through the town
