We start the tour in “Câmara de Lobos”, it is a fishing village, which is located on the west side of Funchal. The boats are housed in the small bay, creating a unique landscape on the island. Seixal is a picturesque village, where the vegetables and vineyards are surrounded by heather. Its coastline is incredibly surrounded by mountains. It has one of the most famous beaches on the island and has recently won a European award for having a unique landscape of vegetation contrasting with the sea.

Located in the north between two rows of basaltic lavas, São Vicente is a charming village with picturesque narrow streets and old houses. It is in this locality that the volcanic caves are found, but it is a tour that requires more time, certainly to be done at another opportunity.
