After you’ve geared up, you’ll go inside the kitchen of João’s very own “pastelaria”. This is where you will learn how to bake the irresistible Portuguese Custard Tarts everybody loves!
We will show you how to make puff pastry like the pros. Afterwards, we will make the custard from scratch and bake it all inside a professional oven. During this class we all work together as a team. Everyone will get to make at least 3 tarts by hand – spread the dough with a specific Pastel de Nata technique, fill in the custard, etc.
