What makes Douro Valley Wine Tour a unique experience ?

WHEN TRADITION GUIDES CREATION
Nature, history and man have shaped culture and
the values of the Douro.
To preserve the liveliness of its landscape and its prestige, we work towards respect for traditions and heritage. We integrate the notions of sustainable development in all stages of production.
We work non-stop and collaborate to perpetuate the creation of authentic viticultural masterpieces.

At Toca da Raposa Restaurant we can enjoy a lunch in which the roots of typical Douro cuisine intersect with modernity in a cozy contemporary setting.

We will board a traditional Rabelo boat, once used to transport the Port Wine kites, which, in a one hour cruise, will take us to discover the sweeping landscapes of some of the most emblematic farms of Alto Douro Vinhateiro.

On this Quinta overlooking the Douro River, where the ancient production methods of the oldest demarcated region of the world are maintained, we will get to know the traditional cellar and port wine warehouses, with the visit ending with the taste of nectars produced here.

The metal bridge was built in 1872 by King D. Luís I for crossing the Douro River and has been deactivated since 1949 due to the state of degradation of the wooden board.
In 2012 she was the target of a profound intervention that adapted her to pedestrian traffic and today is a point of attraction of the city of Peso da Régua, having as a differentiating element its lighting that at night turns it into ex-libris landscaping of the Douro Valley.

This station, which has been used since the train arrived in Pinhão village in 1879, is a point of reference for tourists visiting the Douro, mainly due to the tile panels that decorate it, with references to the landscapes of the Douro Valley and the winemaking activity in the region.
It still retains its original functionality, now enriched with a modern store selling wines and other regional products.
