Join us on a magnificent tour to Furnas valley where you can experience the volcanic origin of São Miguel Island.
The tour will have its first stop in Vila Franca do Campo, followed by a visit to the Lagoa das Furnas, where its cooked the famous cozido das Furnas. After lunch at a local restaurant, Parque Terra Nostra waits for you. In Furnas we´ll also visit the Caldeiras das Furnas and the famous Pico do Ferro viewpoint. Still on the north coast on our way to Ponta Delgada you can taste the typical green tea at the Gorreana Tea Factory and amaze yourself with Santa Iria Viewpoint.

Furnas is so well known for its thermal waters and thermal pools. At this stop you can see your lunch being made from below ground, the famous Cozido.

Stop At: Parque Terra Nostra, Largo Marques da Praia e Monfort 2, Furnas, Povoacao, Sao Miguel 9675-037 Portugal
At this stop you will visit the Terra Nostra Park with a stunning botanical garden and the thermal water pool. Bring swimsuit to spend a good time in this wonderful pool.

Stop At: Pico do Ferro Viewpoint, Furnas, Povoacao, Sao Miguel 9675 Portugal
At this viewpoint you will be able to see the Furnas lake from the top and the Furnas parish.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana, Sao Miguel 9625-304 Portugal
On this stop you will have the opportunity to visit the oldest tea factory in Europe, the Gorreana Tea factory, and try these delicious teas.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Miradouro de Santa Iria, Porto Formoso, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel Portugal
In this viewpoint you will be enchanted by the green landscape of the north coast of the island of São Miguel.
