“Vista do Rei” viewpoint with stop. This is another highlight of the tour. This viewpoint name, “The King´s view” was given because in the summer of 1901, King D. Carlos I and Queen D. Amélia visited it. Offers a stunning view over the Sete Cidades crater, with the twin lakes as a backdrop. At the same place is located also an abandoned 5 stars hotel, which worked for just 1 year between 1989 and 1990 ruins.
