The first sea cave that we will visit

Hidden between high cliffs, Cova Redonda Beach was once considered one of the best in Europe. As it is little known, it is very quiet, being mostly frequented by guests from nearby hotels.

The beach is one of the most rustic along the coast and was used as a refuge for small fishing boats in the region.

When the neighboring and very popular Praia da Senhora da Rocha fills up, many people cross a 60 meter long tunnel to this beach. It is larger and quieter, and also offers views of the iconic hermitage at the top of the promontory that separates the two beaches. The views from here are even more impressive, especially when you climb to the top of the cliff.

Beach with transparent waters, an unmissable sight, but it is a small beach in Porches. It’s worth knowing, as it becomes quite reserved.

A small tunnel leads to another sandy area where there is a natural monument – an arch in a cliff, created over thousands of years.

It is famous for its impressive arch in the water. Compared to nearby beaches such as Praia da Marinha, Benagil, and Carvoeiro, Praia da Albandeira is relatively unknown. However, Praia da Albandeira is one of the best-kept secrets that the Algarve has to offer.
