Our experience will start at Porto’s Old Cathedral, where an introduction of the city will be presented and what we’re going to cover
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Rua de Sant’ Ana, R. de Sant’ Ana, Porto, Portugal
Right in one of the older medieval streets in Porto (and also one of the former Jewish Quarters of the city), we will have our first wine tasting with regional products from Porto and the North. All tastings will be commented and explained to you.

Stop At: Ribeira Square, Praca da Ribeira, Porto 4050-513 Portugal
On our way to the heart of Port Wine in Porto, pass by the Square of Ribeira and learn how Port Wine came through the Rabelos’ Boats, alongside the Douro River, and stored in Vila Nova de Gaia. Names such as Calem, Sandeman, Kope and Graham’s are to be seen from the waterfront.

Designed by a student of Gustav Eiffel, this 1886 landmark presents us as an icon in Porto, for those who wish to cross to Gaia for the Port Wine Cellars.

Right across the iron bridge Luís I, embark on a visit to an old wine cellar and witness where Port Wine is made and stored. Here, you will see a different variety of wines and learn from the best wine connoisseurs how important this beverage is to Porto. At the end, Port Wine tasting is included.
