Begin your experience at 6.00pm, with a guided tour of the Cellars. Discover the history of one of the most prestigious Port wine houses in the world and learn about the production process of Port Wine – from its origin in the Douro Valley and Quinta do Panascal, where Fonseca’s port wine is born, to its aging process and even sustainable winemaking practices.

Then, follow the visit with an unforgettable tasting session. Taste two of Fonseca’s most iconic port wines (Bin 27 and Siroco) while you experience the sound of one of the greatest symbols of Portuguese culture – Fado. For children, a grape juice from the Douro Valley is provided.

From the legendary 1840, Fonseca’s first Vintage Port release, to the superb declared vintages of the last decade, the house of Fonseca has produced a succession of highly acclaimed wines even in the most adverse moments of history.

This unforgettable experience at Fonseca includes a guided tour to the cellars, where visitors can learn about the history behind this renowned Port house, followed by a tasting of 2 of its iconic wines to the sound of Fado – one of the biggest symbols of Portuguese culture.
