What most characterizes the city of Amarante is, without a doubt, its historical centre, where one can appreciate, among others buildings, the São Gonçalo Bridge, over Tâmega, and the Monastery of São Gonçalo. This will be your first stop, with the right to taste the amazing sweet`s, typical from the region.

After enjoying the unique and dazzling landscape during the trip, that Upper Douro wine region has to offer, it`s time to jump into a boat, and enjoy the journey throught the Douro Valley`s.
