Another uniqueness of this tour is that you will be offered several lunch options from where you can choose, because we take the food experience seriously and want you to enjoy a top quality local food. Here are the options:

1. A mid-range restaurant with delicious food made
from local fresh ingredients;

2. A high end restaurant (only available for private group bookings, closed on Sundays and Mondays)

3. Michelin Star Chef restaurant for an unforgettable food experience
(closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Travel time from Porto to the heart of the Douro Valley, Pinhão.

A one hour relaxing and beautiful boat ride on a traditional Portuguese Rabelo boat that were used for transportation of barrels of wine through the river in the past.

A guided tour and commented tasting of exclusive olive oil, wine, honey and almonds in a boutique winery. It is a family-owned business at its 4th generation.

Travel time between Pinhão and Régua, towns in the valley.

Lunch (not included in the package) in a mid-range or high end Michelin Star Chef restaurant. I pay special attention to the food experience and prefer giving you a chance to choose in line with your budget and interests.

A tour in one of the most beautiful Quintas(wine estates) of the Douro Valley, where we will have an opportunity to learn about the process of winemaking and ageing. There we will enjoy a commented tasting of different types of high quality Port wines by an experienced wine educator.
