Stop At: Favaios, Favaios, Vila Real District, Northern Portugal
Our first stop will be in the Douro Wine Region, in the village of Favaios, considered one of the Portuguese treasures and one of the pearls of authenticity in this region.
On this visit we will have the opportunity to learn more about the history and traditions of this typical Douro village, which is the “land of bread & wine”, thanks to its traditional bakeries and for its famous Moscatel wine.

Stop At: Adega de Favaios, Lugar dos Pousados, Favaios Portugal
After discovering this picturesque village, we will visit the element that unifies the lives and work of these people: the Adega Cooperativa.
Here, more than understanding the complicity between the producers and the Adega Cooperativa, you will have the opportunity to taste one of the most famous and emblematic Portuguese muscatels: the Moscatel of Favaios.

Still immersed in the genuine Douro circuit, we will discover the tradition of wine-producing families, in the heart of the Douro valley, in a local producing “Quinta” where the beauty of the 18th century manor house is just the starter tonic.

We will digest this wonderful Wine Lunch, sailing through the waters of this iconic river, on a relaxing boat trip that will take you from the banks painted with vineyards to the schist cliffs, from shades of green to shades of scarlet, always surrounded by the landscapes of this region unique, World Heritage Site.

Stop to admire the beautiful tiles that portray work in the vineyards and local landscapes.

Sit down, fasten your seat belt and prepare your camera… we are about to start the journey along the iconic N222 road, considered to be the best panoramic road in the world, that will take us to the next moment of this private experience in the Douro Valley.
