This should be our first stopping point. The history of Guimarães is closely associated with the formation and identity of Portugal as a Nation! With a medieval setting, in its streets, houses and arches you can easily see the harmony and preservation of a unique heritage.

We recommend going up and visiting Guimarães Castle, Wonder of Portugal: from its walls you will have a beautiful perspective of the city. We also highlight the Paço dos Duques de Bragança, which we will find along the way.

We will have lunch in Braga, then continue our Tour. Although it is one of the oldest cities in the country, it is also a vibrant city, where you can breathe culture, art and excitement, with welcoming and humble people.

Being an excellent Religious Tourism destination, we suggest visiting its Cathedral, Bom Jesus do Monte or the Sameiro Sanctuary. You will not regret it!
