A thorough tour around the city that gave its name to the country, Portus Cale, and where the famous Port wine has been produced for more than 300 years.
Join us in a day tour which includes:
Clerigos tower and church – A baroque style architecture piece dated 1750.
Lello’s bookshop – One of the oldest bookstores in Portugal (1906) and rated the third best bookstore by The guardian and Lonely Planet, it is also considered one of the most beautiful in the world by various international lists.
São Bento train station – A building constructed under the influence of french beaux art style (dated late 19th century).
After we will have some amazing Portuguese traditional lunch.
We will visit Ribeira for the six bridges cruise, the famous Majestic Café and the monumental Bolhão Market, with its neoclassical architecture style.
And, sure enough, we will end the tour with some Port wine tasting!
