Why choose this Porto tour ?
We begin with a guided walk through Porto’s historic center, starting with the grand Avenida dos Aliados and the iconic Clérigos Tower. Discover unique spots like the beautifully decorated McDonald’s and São Bento Train Station, where you’ll learn about its historic tile panels.
From there, we’ll walk up to the Cathedral of Sé (external visit) for panoramic views, followed by a stop at the Fernandina Wall. At Batalha Square, we’ll board a comfortable bus to Vila Nova de Gaia for a traditional Port wine cellar visit, where you’ll learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of three wine varieties.
The tour concludes in Porto’s city center, at our starting point.

The corner stone was unveiled in 1900 by king Carlos I on the site of the former convent S. Bento de Avé Maria (Saint Benedict of Hail Mary). The initial project was designed by architect Marques da Silva with its external lines demonstrating then contemporary French influences.
On the 17th December 1921, an establishment called Elite café opened for business in Porto.
It was located in Santa Catarina street, a pedestrian walkway for shopping and for the finest members of society, then and now. The café enlightened the street with its Art Nouveau decoration, by architect João Queiroz.
The Church of Clérigos (Ecclesiastics) is a genuine baroque masterpiece dating from the mid-18th century. It was designed by Nicolau Nasoni, an architect of Italian origin. He stamped his mark on many monuments around Oporto and the north of Portugal. Nasoni, on his request, was buried here in a small chapel with its gateway at the same level as the top of the double bolster stairway.
Now it’s time to taste the nectar of the gods that us humans call Port Wine, you will have the chance to know more about the port in a guided tour and at the end taste two type of Ports.
