Take a half-day trip to Aveiro, a city famous for its traditional moliceiro boats and known as the “Venice of Portugal”.
We start the day with pick-up at the client’s hotel/accommodation to head to Aveiro.
We begin with a guided tour of the historic center of the city, highlighting the beautiful Aveiro Cathedral, founded in 1423, in baroque style, and declared a National Monument. Admire the charming residences and enchanted streets with some Art Nouveau details.
Fall in love with the Rossio garden, where the arms of the estuary pass and be amazed by a beautiful moliceiro boat ride.
Visit a traditional local pastry shop and enjoy the soft eggs so typical of the city.
Further away from the center, visit the Salinas and travel to Costa Nova, a beautiful white sand beach. Discover the famous typical fishermen’s houses, painted in bright colors and with vertical stripes, which used to serve fishermen and are now residences dedicated to tourism.

Forum Aveiro – the largest commercial space in the city which, due to its architecture and format, has already earned it some distinctions in international awards.

In the vicinity of the Forum is the Ponte dos Laços da Amizade where we find several ties tied to its structure. The idea came from two university students in 2004, with the aim of symbolizing friendship.

Sé de Aveiro, also known as the Parish Church of Nossa Senhora da Glória. Dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, this Cathedral clearly demonstrates a fusion of architectural styles that have filled it over the years, from Baroque, Gothic and Mannerist.

Passage through the Salinas

Visit the famous colorful houses of Costa Nova do Prado, which are located approximately 10 minutes by car from the city center and are certainly the most photogenic houses in Portugal. Located in Ílhavo, just a few meters from the beach, the houses are nowadays used for tourism, mainly during the summer season. In the past it was a fishing village and these houses were mainly used to store fishing equipment.
