Pass By: Ponte de Dom Luis I, Pte. Luiz I, Porto Portugal
The second largest city in Portugal is by itself one of the most visited cities. We start the tour in Porto and point north, toward the Vinho Verde region.
Stop At: Soalheiro, M1148 Alvaredo, Melgaco 4960-010 Portugal

We travel to Melgaço, the northernmost municipality in Portugal and one of the two sub-regions where Alvarinho is king. Here we will visit one of the most famous wineries in the region, which is still family run and has produced excellent nectars since 1982, where we will start by tasting some unexpected products: infusions! You will have a small breakfast paired with the infusions created by this winery that will awaken your senses. Then we will visit the property: the infusion fields, the cellar and finally taste the excellent wines.

After the visit we’ll stop at a typical restaurant where we will have a delicious regional lunch waiting for us. Here you will have the chance of tasting some smoked sausages paired with some Red Vinho Verde!
