ABOUT
The buildings covered with tiles in Portugal are one of the most beautiful and unique heritages of the world.
In Porto, most of the houses are decorated with these small ceramic pieces. They were painted by hand one by one in the old, extinct ceramics factories in Porto.
During our workshops you will learn about this important Portuguese heritage and paint Porto tiles yourself using traditional techniques. Or you can do your own freestyle.
These tile painting workshops are made to support our project OS AZULEJOS DO PORTO, a non-profit project to catalogue all the facade tiles of Porto.
