This trail begins on a dirt road that will take you to a forest full of Eucalyptus, Australian Cheesewood, Acacias and Yellow Ginger Lilies, you can also find several species of Typha a plant original from New Zealand.
Here, you’ll be able to discover the Lagoa do Fogo water trails –levadas – and also some endemic plants as Uva da Serra (Vaccinium cylindraceum), Urze (Erica azorica Hochst), Folhado (Viburnum tinus) and Linguee.
